So, a very long time ago (I’m talking six months at least), my friend alyssacarlier “nominated” me to do a #WatchMeWrite video, which is, in her words, “a campaign/activity where the nominees record their screen as they write, speed up the video and add music, then share it with the world via Twitter, Tumblr, blogs or any other social media services.” Now, at the time, the only thing I was really working on was my novel series, Elements - specifically, the two hundredth first draft of the first book. And I was just going to do a part of it, as you’re technically supposed to, but it didn’t seem enough to me. So I figured I should just... tape the entire thing. So here it is. #WatchMeWrite my entire 30k novel(la) in under ten minutes. I’m really not worried about anyone stealing it because it’s shit lol.
The music used was Black Noise (first 30 seconds or so) and The Farewell, both by Break of Reality, a really awesome “multiple cellos and a percussionist band.”
I nominate puckieg, so-small-so-annoying, and any other of my mutuals that happen to be writers and I just don’t know about it. You can check out this guide on how to make one if you’re interested in doing it!
