The Sunflower Prince’s 5 Forms
Wind is his base form, in which siphoning thermal energy and using ranged water blasts are his focus. The wind represents his speed and ability to cover great distances while in this form. In this form he appears to be weak to attack, but the aforementioned range and speed work as a bit of an active defense. Also in this form, he is capable of limited flight.
His Energy Absorption and Flare forms are where he combines his thermal energy and water manipulation to create mid to close range ice attacks. Uses an ice sword. This form is primarily offensive, but contains many large area crowd control variations as well. That being the case, his primary defense is by means of incapacitating his foes before engaging. Has been shown to be able to summon and fight alongside apparently autonomous ice clones. Energy Absorption is his primary form, and if pressured enough, a call to his Flare form indicates the added capability to release limited amounts of the thermal energy that he has absorbed.
The form, Core, will see use of his thermal energy manipulation at very close range, along with moving and freezing water to protect himself from various attacks (ice armor). The core is a testament to the extreme amounts of thermal energy built up and released at this close range. With physical contact he is both able to release thermal energy to burn and incinerate, or absorb thermal energy to freeze at an exceptional rate. This is his most defensive form.
Finally there is the Eclipse form, which manifests as an ability to release almost limitlessly, very high amounts of thermal energy efficiently at range. This is the most offensively powerful of the five forms, and the rarest in use, as he is left completely vulnerable to attack while in this form.
