I have a huge fear of water, most specifically lakes/ponds. I’m fine with swimming pools and the ocean, for some reason. But last summer I jumped in to a pond from a rope swing and hit the water hard, and it immediately made me panic and I just started sobbing. I was convinced I was dead for the next several hours. Is there any sort of programming that could cause that sort of reaction, and what types of programming use water for trauma?

There are a number or reasons someone could be afraid of water, and it sounds like your landing in the water would probably scare anyone.

There are methods in programming that use water.  You’re ask didn’t give information about a history that may indicate programming.
