2 little paintings I did for my Water mediums class. The first is Lolo, my real life pincushion that I painted with gouache (the shadow is watercolor) on 6x8" 96lb toned tan paper.
The second is a dwarf sunflower I did with mixed media using a photo of my own stock from a time I had sunflowers in my garden. I painted on 8x10" 300lb coldpressed watercolor paper with gouache (the green bg), sketched the flower with colored pencils, used gouache, acrylic inks and paint for details over the pencil in some areas.
