Em Hates her Waterdish

This is my first time knowing of a tarantula that is not obsessed with their waterdish! 

But no problem! these couple of signs (which literally mean “No tipping the dish”) will help this cute tarantula named Em, to not cover it with dirt anymore!

Day 67/100 #the100dayproject This started with the idea I saw in my #watercolorclass of doing a large fish with #collage scales. I also wanted to do some #watercolortexture directly into my #sketchbook. I prepped the background and got to warm on the other components. It took me a couple of days of creating new #collagepapers, cutting pieces, playing with placement, and finally gluing it all down. I’m proud of what I created. I feel like I keep surprising myself with each addition to my #watercolorsketchbook. I have spent so many years telling myself that I could never create anything good enough to appear in a #picturebook, but look at this. It totally could. Gotta keep changing my mind loops from “I can’t do that” to “I’m an illustrator” and mean it.
