Warning: A non sequitur. Perhaps an introspective look into Haruka's views upon water. Or it could just be a pervert trying to force her mind into his, in order to create something meaninglessly meaningful to herself.

The water caressed him like a lover.

It hadn't been too long ago, when he'd thought of it like a sibling, or even a mother. Caring in its own way, and raising him when his parents could not.

Water had always been there for him, waiting. It never judged. It was... a constant in his life.

As mercurial as it could be, water had never failed Haruka. Even as he cut through the water, propelling himself forward with effortless strokes and kicks, it had never once rejected him. Always accepting his every touch.

And it caressed him. Like a lover, as if to return every touch he gave it. His fervent, almost reverent, touch was reciprocated with the feeling of water swirling around his body, lovingly pushing him forward.

It was... beautiful. A symbiotic relationship built upon Haruka's love of the freedom water gave him, and the way it accepted him holistically. He gave his everything to the water, and the water gave everything he needed in return.

Haruka had never been the religious type of person, but he could say quite firmly... the water was the singular deity he knew that would always answer his call.

He had no need for--relationships, when he could get everything he needed from water.

Words were meaningless after all, when your head was ducked under and you were transported into a world of clear, thick 'air'; the only sound in your ears the rushing of bubbles and waves, the only sight in your eyes the endless beauty of light dancing through dust and water.

Communication was effortless, because all you needed were the limbs of your body, and a heart that was free from everything.

Call him obsessed, but Haruka...

Haruka could honestly say that he loved water.
