Waterman ink is a bit like an old friend that got me through my school years, figuring out delicate pens, and now it’s helping me learn about the history of ink. Some of you might have heard me talk about my love of the brand and the fact that I’m trying to trace it’s history. 💕✒️💧 . This winter I found this little gem that is quite different from any other bottle of Waterman ink I have. So far I haven’t read much about it’s story, but something in the shape of the bottle and the label just spoke to me and I bought it as soon as I saw it. The bakelite cap means it cannot have been made before 1907. I suspect it’s from the 1910s-1920s but have not figured out how to date it properly. ❤️🧐 .
