Day 28 | Monterey Bay KOA | Watsonville CA

At one month smack-dab we're given no choice but to stay at our first KOA. All of the backup spots to our backup spots have been super rightfully taken by those affected by the current climate.

We narrowly escaped the Napa fires just to make it in time for the Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay coastline earthquakes (we are literally on San Andreas Road, as in the fault line? As in the harrowing movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson?) Sooo… Just thought I’d leave you with a picture of us from the beach this evening in case we all get swallowed up in a Tsunami, which, for the record, is probably one of my Top 3 Worst Ways To Go. Anyhoo! It’s not the best family picture of us, but it’s a decent one of me, and that’s what I’d like to leave you with. My good side.
