Taking a Breather || Alice & Demetri

Setting her drink down on the coffee table, Alice crept out of the party and stood on the porch, her eyes gazing out at the street in front of her. She took a deep breath. Maybe being at the party that night wasn't the best idea. She still had so much on her mind, and the alcohol was hardly having any effect on her.  She leaned on the railing, her gaze travelling down to the grass. Her chin rested on one of her hands as she stared. All she needed was to relax, that was it. Maybe she needed to keep drinking... Alice's mind had been elsewhere when someone came out after her, but she was too focused on her thoughts to even hear the door open behind her.
