Q5-02 is sent to the surface after repeated rebooting to fix a mysterious fascination with patterns and music. What happens when a synth looses it's connection to the Institute? Will they find a new function to fulfill in the wasteland?

NOTE: Many of these chapters will include portions formatted in a way that simulates computer programs and coding. Because of this, there will be lots of ellipses, dashes etc that will make voice readers, e-readers etc very hard to understand. I am sorry. I don't see any way around this and still have the formatting work.

wave machines are subjected to intense chemical and electrical stimulation to make their muscles spasm in a way that creates waves. they live most of their lives in isolation at the bottom of a swimming pool, only having contact with maintenance workers. it may be unsettling if one grabs your leg, but try to have some empathy for their lonely, painful existence.
