#wave moth

@the-isopodcalypse​ submitted: I found like 15 of these little guys chilling in the grass in the same area the other day. Important moth business I assume. (Cincinnati, OH)

Moth convention! Bet they were discussing moth stuff. Looks like a wave geometer in Sterrhinae probably? If you wanted to narrow it down to species that’s a place to start. If not, we’ll just admire this nice friend as is :))

– Wave Moth (Scopula sp.) – Revisited the temple at the top of the mountain, by my house, again. And of course there were a whole bunch of moths right by the washbasins again. Found another Geometer moth again, but this one is called a Wave moth (I have read online that it may be a Cream Wave, I have been advised by those with more knowledge than I to drop the cream part.) Habitat: Subtropical mountainous area, dense brush and trees
