Fabric Fan Motor Sensor

This case is different from Naomi’s work, which the fans aren’t moving but the flow controlled by the ordered motor setting. The interaction doesn't need participants’ action to trigger but triggered by the setting itself.
The installation looks more like an immersive design but also can be an interactive installation, which the interaction is between the different parts of the project itself.
As soon as I saw this case, I tried to imagine how should I do the installation with the scale in our site which is the chapel or Eastbridge hospital. Then I figure out that the hight of the floor in both of our site buildings are quite low, therefore, I decide to change my chosen site from inside to outside. And the first thought of the place is the garden in front of the Greyfriars chapel.
Really interesting kinetic sculptures. Many of Reuben's works are inspired from natural wave forms and different movement patterns of creatures ranging from caterpillars to spider legs!
