Is type lumina actually that bad? I haven’t seen too much about it in the way of good or bad.

I already made a post on it and I don't really think I need to punt it around any more than that, so refer to rereading that post if you want more out of me regarding Type Lumina, bwahaha.

As a big Actress Again fan, I'm disappointed, but otherwise, I hope the people that play it and enjoy it have a good time with it. It's not like there's no other fighting games out there for the rest of us (like Actress Again!).

Yeah I change my summoner support whenever I feel like using a different unit a lot. I’ve got like 200 some odd stamina potions and grinding out the supports gives me something to do in the game. As opposed to opening the app, getting my login reward, and then just closing it again.

i think i’ve changed my summoner support maybe 3x. first one was The Reinhardt, but then i learned it works best with enemy phase so i went with BK. once i realized that i never use him i went with swoleil since she’s my +10 project as well as dual phase.

i probably wouldn’t recommend changing it so often, but then again there’s no real use for stamina potions these days.

Sorry this is late but here she is. BestPrincess™ destroying the meta. She’s +spd and merged once so with horse buffs she gets up to 51 atk and 42 spd. She also gets to 38 res so she can take a hit or two. She has wrathful staff and gravity+ with the dazzling staff upgrade. So not only does she make it so that whoever she attacks can’t counterattack, but she also gives them and enemies around them a movement debuff. She’s honestly one of my best units now thanks to the update. She’s so versatile.

Honestly, I don't think it does. For your last point on your death note post. There's certain context and spoiler reasons for why I think so but it could also be just my interpretation. And in all honesty, it's not a completely awful movie. By no means is it good, it has lots of flaws that don't pertain to the death note reasons. However, it's meant to be completely desperate from the original series. Not even in like a reimagining sense, it's supposed to be taken as it's own thing. 1/2

and honestly if you're capable of separating the original death note canon from this movie, it's not terrible. Not great, but not terrible. The last 15-20 minutes are actually REALLY good. But that doesn't make up for the flaws in the rest of the movie. The director also said that this movie is to be the first of a trilogy, which if you do finish it, will make the move make a lot more sense. However the trilogy isn't confirmed for being made, but it's something they're trying for.

if they wanted it to be a separate thing, why didn’t they change the character names. they changed everything else about the characters, whats the point of still calling them light or L or misa. just have it exist in the same universe as the original death note or make something new. the only reason they’d have for continuing to use the death note character names is for brand recognition to attract fans, but then they shit on it all and make the fans hate it

Honestly I'd be okay with marriage as long as it's not over the top awkward supports dialogue and there's no kids. I'd prefer no marriage but I wouldn't mind it. I'd also be okay with the A+ support rank where it's one per character and you get specific stat ups when next to eachother.

I don’t particularly hate marriage but it’s just there to facilitate the existence of the kids. Which while great for theory-crafting my superior units, wasn’t necessary for Fates. I think its time to retire the concept for a while. But I am curious what you have in mind for A+ Supports if pair up and reclassing ceases to be a thing.

I feel like the raven DLC would have been a lot better if they didn't release it months after the initial games release. I feel like it would have been a cool side quest but bigger than a side quest. Maybe made that whole thing the playable raven part instead of the 5 minutes we get of her in kat's story. It still has problems but I feel like timing is a big part of it.

I’m not sure. There are a lot of structural problems that building it into the main game or releasing it earlier still wouldn’t have fixed. And I’m talking about everything to do with the retcons and such. Having to retcon your own retcon is just sloppy, but they had to do it that way lest they have to rewrite the entire first game in a DLC/side mission, which they clearly didn’t want to do.

I think this is probably the...least disruptive option they could’ve taken if they wanted to do these plot points at all. But the plot points themselves make no sense.

Time travel is hard to get right, and this is an example of doing it wrong. Though again, I’m just happy that it was ultimately undone, with Raven getting to keep her character development.
