CANT BE A HEADCANON WHEN ITS TRUE!!!!!!! like you ever see your cats just chilling and you have to make a show of pointing at them and rumbling in a deep voice. going OUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH or gesturing at them and going "what the HELL is that THINGGGGG" or just calling them the thing in general. i love to squish shous face and i love 2 carry them and say they're going in the oven. i make a lot of cooking jokes about my cats but i love them so much they're the evilest most annoying little shits ever and there's nothing better than them

Whatever horrors you face pale in comparison to changing the steering cables in the boat. Spent all day laying in the engine bay groping around the pumps working blind. It’s coming along slowly but I need a hardware store run in the morning. So tore in to the waveblaster. Front piston holed as suspected - I think from bad gas. Lower compression rebuild perhaps would be smart. Full race spec motor was super fun while it lasted tho.

Summer 2024 was superlative.

The cool kids have discovered VW moulding - lining the hood rather than gluing foam to the hull. It’s sano but seems to wear out easier than the foam.

Probability of throwing my back out just getting the skis ready seems to increase every year. Imma be so bummed if I do. Replacing jet skiing with long snake-infested walks while I heal would suck.

Building myself a race motor for my Waveblaster for my birthday. I get myself the same gifts every birthday and Christmas, but I wear out at least two engines a year. I could build engines that are less powerful and last longer but that’s boring.

Also suggests the pattern of ending my season with a grenading engine and terribly long boring float will continue. I am going to biy boat tow insurance and then ride the shit out of this thing.

Much to my surprise my cylinder and pistons arrived today. I’d talked to them Monday and two days later I’ve got my parts. I could be riding a WaveBlaster before the weekend.
