It’s #EndangeredSpeciesDay SPECIES SPOTLIGHT - Rothschild’s / Nubian Giraffes Uganda Pictured here is a tower of giraffes in Kidepo Valley National Park in northern Uganda by @ilse.wa. The Nubian Giraffe is the most endangered, and second tallest after the Masai type. They are also the only giraffe species to possess 5 ossicones (essentially horn). Definitely worth saving. Murchison Falls National in Uganda also holds 10% of the remaining 2,000 Rothschild’s giraffes left in the wild.
