Wavelo is the new bike share system in Krakow, Poland. The system is expanding to 1500 smart bikes at over 100 stations this April 2017.

In 2016, the City of Krakow decided to completely revamp the oldest bike sharing program in Poland and grant a long-term concession to manage the system. The Wavelo bike share system is financed without funding from the city budget, and all operating costs will be covered from user fees and sponsorship contracts.
