Wave Riding Returns to Tama Arena for July 2025

Back again! Bandai Namco has announced that the Wave Riding event will return to the Tama Arena in the Tamaverse on Thursday, July 24th, 2025 at 14:00 JST and run through Thursday, July 31st, 2025 13:59 JST! The result calculation period will run from Thursday, July 31st, 2025 14:00 JST through Friday, August 1st, 2025 13:59 JST. Lastly, the reward distribution period will run from Friday, August 1st, 2025 14:00 JST and run through Monday, August 11th, 2025 13:59 JST.

Since you’ve played this game before, you already know how it works! Catch the waves to avoid the flags.

Press the “A” button to go up.

Let go of the button to go down.

Shake the device to jump over the yellow flags.

Results will be announced! For every day you participate in the vent you will earn Gotchi Points! Score first place and you’ll earn 1,000 Gotchi Points, 750 for second place, and 500 for third place.

Depending on how many days you play for, you’ll earn some awesome rewards, including one new reward! Not sure why Bandai has listed the Sunnytchi Light as new when this was distributed last time.

Reward S is the Sunnytchi Light Tama accessory, Reward A is the Surfboard accessory, and Reward B is the Tamaverse Water accessory. If you play for 5-7 days, you’ll earn rewards S, A, and B. Play for 2-5 days and you’ll earn rewards A and B. Lastly, play 1 day, and you’ll earn reward B.

The winning team will win the grand prize of 5,000 Gotchi Points! Good luck playing again and catching those waves this summer!

Team Éclair Wins Tama Arena Wave Riding Event!

Yay! Team éclair pulled it off! They were leading in the mid-results and pulled it though for the win. The results are in, head over to the Tama Arena to hear the results of the Wave Riding event that ran from Friday, July 26th, 2024 through Friday, August 2nd, 2024.

The score was team macarons with 370, and team éclair with 330 points. All members of team éclair will earn their prize of 5,000 Gotchi Points on top of their special items which will depend on how many days you played for. We played for 5 days, so we earned the Surfboard, and Croissant!

Prizes will be distributed in the Tama Arena from Friday, August 2nd, 2024 through Wednesday, August 7th, 2024. Whether your team won or not, do not forget to claim your prize before time is up!

Bandai has also announced that the highest score worldwide was 9975! Congratulations to team éclair, and we are so excited to see what the next Tama Arena event will be!
