Wave Riding Return to Tama Arena for July 2026

Time to ride the waves! Bandai Namco has announced that the Wave Riding event will return to the Tama Arena in the Tamaverse on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026 at 14:00 JST and run through Thursday, July 30th, 2026 13:59 JST! The result calculation period will run from Thursday, July 30th, 2026 14:00 JST through Friday, July 31st, 2026 13:59 JST. Lastly, the reward distribution period will run from Friday, July 31st, 2026 14:00 JST and run through Friday, August 7th, 2026 13:59.

Since you’ve played this game before, you already know how it works! Catch the waves to avoid the flags.

Shake the device to jump over the yellow flags.

Results will be announced! For every day you participate in the vent you will earn Gotchi Points! Score first place and you’ll earn 1,000 Gotchi Points, 750 for second place, and 500 for third place.

Depending on how many days you play for, you’ll earn some awesome rewards, including one new reward! Not sure why Bandai has listed the Sunnytchi Light as new when this was distributed last time.

Reward S is the Sunnytchi Light Tama accessory, Reward A is the Summer Sunlight accessory, and Reward B is the surfboard accessory. If you play for 5-7 days, you’ll earn rewards S, A, and B. Play for 2-5 days and you’ll earn rewards A and B. Lastly, play 1 day, and you’ll earn reward B.

The winning team will win the grand prize of 5,000 Gotchi Points! Good luck playing again and catching those waves this summer!

Bandai Japan Details Tama Arena Tama Racing Event in August

Looks like the Tama Arena is about to open up soon host its very own event! Bandai Japan has provided some details about the upcoming event on the official Tamagotchi website. Tama Racing, which is what we’ve seen in a recent video from Bandai Japan, and graphic provided above, where Tamagotchi’s race UFO’s and avoid objects to reach the finish line first is a global competition between Uni Tama’s!

The event will run from Monday, July 31st, 2023 14:00 to Monday, August 7th, 2023 13:59. Prizes will be handed out from mid-August to late August, how exciting is that! The winning team will be given a present. No mention on what the prize will be. Can’t wait to hear more! More details to be released at a later date.

To participate you just need to go to Tamaverse on your Tamagotchi Uni and visit the Tama Arena. Decide whether to belong to the pink or purple team, and then start playing Tama Racing! Do your best to not lose to opponents, and you can play only once per day.

OMG we are excited, the first event in the Tamaverse takes place at the Tama Arena, and you can play others around the world and win prizes? We love this.

Bandai Adds Tamaverse Events Countdown to Tamagotchi Official Website

Timezones are tough. Bandai has enhanced the Tamagotchi official website to now include a countdown under the current Tamaverse events to make it easier for those to understand when an event starts, and when an event stops.

As you can see in the Tama Arena you are informed about how many hours there are remaining in the event. It’s also important to note that event days start at 14:00 JST.
