“Come with me. I want to show you something.”
Terrible First Meeting Starters
Travis hadn’t been expecting company during his leisurely stroll through the woods of Beacon Hills, so it came as a surprise when a faint heartbeat sounded in his ears. An animal, possibly? The closer it moved, the less it resembled an animal… Small dissimilarity in noise. Eyes wandered along the trees, finally spotting a slender redhead emerging from the bushes with leaves in her hair. A scoff escaped parted lips and muscular arms crossed over a broad chest, gaze fixed on her. She didn’t look familiar, he surely hadn’t seen her around.
When she spoke, she spoke before Travis, who insisted on being stubborn and silent. Her statements came as more of a shock than her presence, all he could do in response was stand there and process what she’d said. Did she want to show him something or lead him into a trap? Unless she wanted to show him her breasts, he wasn’t going anywhere.
“And why would I go with you? You don’t even know who I am.” the words were muttered, an unimpressed expression on his face. For all she knew, he could’ve been a serial killer.
