CONNOR.

            ❝ Good.  ❞

                   HIS REPLY IS SHORT  ,  almost as if connor was expecting something else  ,  expecting jer to be able to read  between  the lines  ,  figure out that connor was lying  &  call him on it.  he hated this  ,  hated that he  FELT  like this for someone who….clearly didn’t feel a damn thing for him.  &  somewhere deep in him  ,  connor  aches  at that knowledge.  if all they are to each other is an easy lay  ,  then why can’t connor seem to think about anyone else ??  why is it that when he’s alone  ,  the only person he wants to see is the one who doesn’t want anything from him ??  it hurts  ,  to have such deep feelings  &  not even realize their depth.

                   ❝ Now that that’s settled, um…..what do we do now ??  I mean, if you want to go you can, I’m just studying right now.  Or we could, uh….do something, I guess.  ❞ 

                there was something in him that wanted to prove that there really was no feelings involved. something that wasn’t too surprising since he always reacted rather drastically to things that he didn’t want to hear. even things like their current predicament that was his fault. of course, they didn’t start out with any genuine feelings. the only thing they felt for each other in the beginning was physical attraction, annoyance and maybe some strange sort of curiosity. he managed to remain calm as he sat there with a bored expression, showing no signs of leaving. 

                “we could go eat,” he suggested as he leaned forward a bit to close the book in front of connor (though he marked the page, he wasn’t that mean) and stared at him, “who cares about studying anyways?”

      if you knew him then you would know that he had no sense of personal space... when it came to other people, anyway. there was no way to make him realize that he was being a bit invasive in terms of space.  ❛   you think? if you don’t know then why’d you agree to it?   ❜ jer became quiet at the explanation though that didn’t stop his eyebrows from drawing together in confusion. he was trying his best not to voice all his thoughts to the stranger.  ❛   only cute ones,   ❜ jer said with a small shrug as he eyed the tattoo instead of nik’s face.

“I do?” there was a hint of genuine surprise to his voice as he stared at his boyfriend for a moment. eyebrows drawn together, the corner of his mouth tugged down as he took a moment to take the words in. sure, their relationship wasn’t really... the healthiest, per se. but he didn’t think it was something like that.
