It’s moi again, Alicia, hi.

Since I introduced myself on Marlene’s post I’ll just jump right in --

This is Bryce and he’s a fuckboy.

I have a page for him here but it’s under construction.

He works on a cruise ship and he enjoys his job thoroughly because it might not seem like the most glamorous but he gets free board and entertainment so he thinks he’s living the dream PLUS he is terrified of settling and terrified of commitment so floating place to place and knowing his job does not have to be permanent is a very good thing for him.

Also girls are coming and going all the time. It’s perfect for someone that only wants flings and doesn’t expect anything to last.

When he’s not cruisin’ he is staying at his place in Florida.

But he prefers to be cruisin’.

He will claim he isn’t sure why he even decided to come back for this wedding in the first place but he is very sure.

He’s been hung up on Sofia Matthews since high school when they dated he broke it off after a little over a year (his longest relationship by far) because w o w commitment, so scary, oh God, she sees right through him and knows that he is capable of being good and he doesn’t like that, he’s too young to be with someone for so long, bye bye, he’ll just find another girl to fill the hole that she left. There are plenty of fish in the sea.

Unintended cruise pun hahaha.

But replacing her has proved to be much harder than he imagined... maybe impossible.

So he wants to see her again ofc.

(He’s totally not in love with her or anything though. Not at all.)

He’s a constant flirt so my apologies when he calls your characters “babe” and winks and hits on them even if it makes them uncomfortable, feel free to actually hit him.

He’s trash.

Human garbage.

But with a lil work he could be a decent person.

I hate him but I love him.

Plot with us? Maybe?

she grew up in Santa Monica and went to high school there (psst -- I would love to explore her high school connections). upon graduation, Rhi earned undergraduate degrees in Rhetoric and Philosophy at Wellesley College in New York. she then attended Baylor Law School. after earning her law degree, Rhiannon moved to Tuscon, Arizona. here she joined a pro bono law firm where she works with the city’s low-income residents daily. she loves her work and wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Rhiannon is nervous about being back for the wedding because she used to date the groom. she is also unsure about how it will feel to be reunited with her old classmates, with whom she did not keep in touch. 

one of Rhiannon’s defining characteristics is her genuine care and respect for others. she passionately abhors injustice of any kind and sometimes gets wrapped up in a superwoman complex, thinking that she needs to fix everything. Rhiannon is intelligent and witty. both her sarcasm and her hot temper can get her into trouble. I would love any and all plots!!

Hi everyone! My name is Katie, and I’m literally so excited to be here!

Balo is my sweetheart, and I owe her a nice verse currently - so I’m going to try to be a little nicer to her then normal? If anyone has any exact questions - feel free to ask - but the basis is that her parents were a little... distant when she was younger. I don’t want to go too in depth with her family currently, just to leave them open for plotting. She’s an artist - and she drabbles in dancing occasionally. I’ll probably get a fact sheet/bio up for her at some point? Probably not right away, but at some point. :)

Nugget number two! Here's some info about Romeo! Romeo was born in Santa Monica, but he didn't live there for long. His parents divorced when he was 7 and he moved with his dad to L.A. He came home every once in awhile to check in on his Mom and his sister Rhiannon. Romeo has never been in a serious relationship, and he has no intention on settling down either. One romantic fling after another has always been the name of the game. He'll do what he can, and say what he needs to say to get with a girl, then he'll give them reason to leave so he doesn't look like the bad guy. It's become an art. Needless to say, he's a nice guy at face value, and becomes super goofy once he knows you. If you find yourself one of his flings though, don't count on ever becoming more than that. Romeo lives in L.A. where he co-owns a bar/restaurant with his Dad. He's got a bachelor's degree in business, and he spent a few terms in culinary school. Romeo is here as back-up for his little sister. Coming to the wedding as Rhiannon's plus one. He doesn't really know anyone since he didn't grow up in Santa Monica. But he runs a great bar in L.A. so he might know someone who is a frequent customer there. if you've got questions or want to plot/connect with Romeo I'm only a message away!

What kind of admin shows up late to a roleplay opening? This admin. 

Hello friends!! I’m Alicia, a blue haired nineteen year old dork from North Carolina that would have been here much sooner if life wasn’t kicking her butt. I have been roleplaying nonstop for the past three years now and you can usually find me binge-watching Friends or Criminal Minds, making fan videos and eating like 22/7.

But you’re probably not reading to learn about me, so let’s get onto Marlene, yeah?

I have a page for her here but it’s still under construction and I haven’t gotten around to writing a biography so really all you need to know is --

Throughout high school she didn’t have many friends nor enemies, she was mostly invisible and assumes that most people coming back to town have forgotten her.

She has always looked up to the bride because she was not a forgettable person, just look at how many people are coming back around for her wedding. She thinks that she has everything and she can’t help but be a little jealous but most of all sad. Sad because she knows that she deserves to have it all and that she apparently doesn’t.

Does she have a low confidence level? What’s confidence? She literally has like no confidence at all and she makes a lot of self deprecating jokes and always takes the blame. It’s a lil annoying but she isn’t searching for sympathy. She just really doesn’t like herself.

She is v v negative. She thinks she’s a realist but she’s just negative.

She has a good heart but she rarely shows it.

She mostly just flies under the radar.

She’s been working as a Starbucks barista since she graduated and has not left home simply because she has no plan for her life. She’s convinced it’s going to be just like this for the next sixty years and then she’ll die.

Her mother was deemed unfit to raise her when she was a baby so her father was granted full custody. He has been married three times since she was born and twice she grew used to the changes in her life before things went south and it was up in the air again. Her current step-mother and step-brother feel like they are truly her family and have been in her life since she was fifteen but she fears she is going to eventually lose them as well.

She seriously fears losing people so she’s a bit afraid of commitment, not that it matters, no one ever really tries to get close enough for her to worry about it.

She needs to break out of her comfort zone but she’s afraid that she’ll fail and the “what if”s seem a lot easier to deal with than the “oh well”s.

She’s a nervous wreck tbh she’s going to stammer and ramble sometimes (a lot of times) and avoid eye contact and apologize a lot and not know what to do with her hands bc social anxiety wow it’s amazing that she could survive working in public for the last five years.. .

To sum her up, think of a human Eeyore.

Or a human Sadness from Inside Out.

You know that quote that’s like “she’s sad, but it’s a hopeful kind of sad, the sad that just takes time”?

That’s Marlene.

All she really needs is someone to show her that she’s important.

And worth more than what she gives herself credit for.

And loved and valid.

She’s my baby and I hurt for her bye.
