Rhiannon had been in town for only a few days, but she was still not used to being back. Everywhere she went, even like today when she was just picking up some groceries, she was bombarded with memories so vivid it was as if she was reliving them. As Rhiannon passed her old high school, she heard a loud, startling pop. Her old olive Forester slowed down as her back left tire lost all of its air. “Okay. You have got to be kidding me,” she groaned, pulling over to the side of the road. Rhiannon got out to inspect the damage. Her tire was completely deflated. Running a hand through her hair, the woman couldn’t help but laugh. Maybe this was an omen about how this visit would go.
Santa freaking Monica. Romeo rolled his eyes at the thought. It wasn't his favorite place in the world. In fact L.A. had become that to him. But here he was. Romeo would do anything for his baby sister nowadays, and if she needed a plus one to a wedding for her high school ex-boyfriend, he'd be that for her. Though he wasn't entirely sure why she wouldn't just RSVP with regrets. Romeo didn't have a lot of memorable places to visit but he was looking to find some form of sustenance. As he drove , he spied a car pulled over to the side of the rode. "Heh, sucker." He said to himself. As he slowed down. "Oh shit, Rhiannon." Romeo rolled his eyes, pulling his truck over to the side of the rode and hopping out. "What did you do dipshit?" Romeo called over to her.
