Roly Poly is a clothing brand made for playful kids with sensory processing disorder. This branding guide and space construction was designed for their comfort. The branding guide includes the primary and secondary logos, why they were chosen, when to use them, the color palette, usable fonts, merch in mockups and more. The space design includes flat plans of the rooms, photos of a 3D model, signage and lists materials needed to construct it. This project was a blast from deciding to use cotton based carpet to building the roly poly booklets. It makes me exciting to do more space and branding design.

Wayfinding design helps us navigate built structures like office buildings, libraries and garages. Here are thirty awesome examples of this graphic design genre.

Fascinating to look at different examples of wayfinding on this site. From looking at these I can spot specific conventions that most of them use that I should take into consideration.

-          Looking at the space and how you can make it interesting

-          Using a different technique to present the signs

-          Using a lot of the surrounding like the floors and ceiling and curving round corners – not just a single wall

-          Sticking to a consistent colour scheme so that the visitors don’t get confused

-          Using designs that are different or unusual which catches visitor’s attention

-          Using 3D shapes to create arrows/pointers

-          Extending flat signage on the wall into 3D signs smoothly
