Way Kambas, 2012 My trip to Way Kambas National Park 6 years ago remains as one of the most memorable experience in my life. The journey was quite long and difficult since google map led us through bumpy roads, but the feeling I got when I saw the elephants roaming freely in their natural habitat washed all the fatigue away. At first upon arriving, I couldn’t see a single elephant in in sight, but after I spotted one, I could spot another, and another, and another until there seemed like hundreds of them. And although they are so far away they looked so close. I thought to myself if it was what it feels like if you go to Serengeti National Park, which is my dream, to see the lion, the giraffe, the zebras, all the animals in their homes. I couldn’t forget it, and I long to feel it again. Someday, in some other places. So long, my friends! . . . . . . . . . #throwback #waykambas #waykambasnationalpark #lampung #exploreindonesia #travel #travelphotography #traveling #welltravelled (at Way Kambas National Park)
