We are big fans of the characters and the women who played those characters in the series, but we did not feel creatively that the show is where we wanted it to be, and we felt we had a better shot with Legacies.

SPOILERS FOR 13x09 UNDER THE CUT

So… How about that episode folks?

JACK IS BACK FIRST AND FOREMOST. I was legitimately worried that he accidentally killed Derek. In the end he didn’t, it was just those nasty angels. Also Jack is officially a Winchester! Jack called the Winchesters and Cas his family AND Dean has finally said that Jack is a part of the family!!

The camera angles and music this episode was awesome. Seriously like the aerial shots and stuff? Kudos to the director and the camera people.

And lemme just ask this quick question of when are they gonna find out that Cas isn’t Cas?

BUT DEAN. GODDAMN IT DEAN. He became so reckless after he found out that Mary was alive and kicking! HE THREATENED KAIA AND POINTED A GUN AT HER HEAD FOR CHRIST’S SAKE. I was like, “Dean you idiot you know better!” Though I can understand because if there’s one thing he’s absolutely reckless about, it’s family.

Now look where that’s got them.. Jack got into the apocalypse and is now literally right in front of Mary. And Sam and Dean are in some sort of Jurassic Park universe! Though Kaia is safe and still in the normal world (I think)

Speaking of the Jurassic Park AU… So we think (know? I don’t know) that Rowena’s coming back right? So what if that was who the hooded figure was in Kaia’s journey? What if the reason Sam and Dean are able to come back (or at least leave) is because Rowena is in that universe and decided to help them out (or they forced her to help them I don’t know). Either way I can’t wait.

But

We all know what this episode was really about…

AND LET ME JUST SAY

THAT I AM IN LOVE WITH CLARK AND YADIRA AND THEIR CHARACTERS.

Seriously, Kaia is fucking awesome and I love that she was like “Yeah your plan sucks and you guys are insane.” Not to mention how she was like “He’s just trying to make a living in Trump’s America.” to the group leader (is that the official title?). Really love that the writers are kinda doing some satire.

But my heart broke a little when she said that she didn’t matter and how she was so determined that they weren’t coming for her… I really hope that Patience, Alex, Jody, Donna, and Claire all show her that she matters and that she’s cared for. 

Speaking of Patience… if there’s one thing that I love about her so far (though I already love her completely) is that she really cares. Like she met Jody ages ago and the minute she sees that Jody’s in danger she just up and leaves her life behind. Which brings me to my next point. THE PARALLELS BETWEEN PATIENCE AND HER DAD AND SAM AND JOHN ALL THOSE YEARS AGO. Though instead of leaving the hunting life, she’s leaving the normal life. It also explains as to why she goes with Jody in the first place.

Clark and Yadira are doing fucking great so far and I can’t wait to see more of them! I’ve also decided to adopt Kaia and Patience, so now my kids are Kaia, Patience, and Jack.

NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT I CANNOT WAIT FOR JANUARY 18 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS WAYWARD DAY (yes, I am calling that day Wayward Day, I am pathetic I know)
