I am a great cook. Even though my husband does most of the cooking nowadays, we both agree that I'm the better cook. As he likes to put it - "I warm up food. You make a meal."

I am sexy. It took me almost 30 years to appreciate myself, and now that I've got it figured out, I'm just going to say it. I am not society's definition of beautiful. If you asked 1000 people to rate me, I'm pretty confident it would result in a low score. But I don't care what they think of me. I don't need affirmation from any man, woman, or child that I am beautiful. Because I see that I am beautiful. I'm gorgeous. And I'm fucking sexy as hell. I'm not going to measure my self worth by what a bunch of people I'll never meet, who don't have a clue as to who I truly am, have to say. I refuse to let a bunch of crude strangers define me as a person based solely on my weight, my facial features, my hair (and yes, that includes leg hair sometimes. I go a couple weeks without shaving and still wear capris to a store. I don't care). My self worth comes from me and me alone. 

I am a great writer. I love the way I phrase things, the flow of words describing my stories. I enjoy reading my works of fiction.

I am my husband's definition of perfection. I know this sounds to be a bit contradictory to #2, but let me explain. I spent my life searching for my prince charming (I've always been in love with fairytales and Snow White was my favorite). We met in the strangest of ways, fell head over heels, and here we are 5 years later still just like newlyweds. This man treats me like a princess and has completely defined love for me. I adore him. I love my hubby more than I love God himself. And when I'm in the middle of the worst depression I've ever experienced, or simply having a low self esteem day, he shows me in countless ways that I am everything he has ever wanted. I love this man more than my kids and my own life combined. And he thinks I'm perfect. It's hard not to believe I'm gorgeous when he's the one telling me.
