Alright I'm a bit afraid to ask but what is this headcannon that will make us cry? I live for the angst - bring it on...

okay so waywardzombies and I have kinda come up with one kinda au where it’s kinda based on a Smallville characters experience basically where the character and his love are always destined to fall in love and watch each other and die only to meet again and repeat.  And ooooh it’s so fucking sad there’s this line in the show that he said “Shayera and I were born a thousand years ago. We were cursed by one of our enemies, destined to fall in love with each other only to watch each other die lifetime after lifetime.” And so we turned it into Stucky… (of course we did) 

And so Ariana and I came up with this idea of just make it Steve and Bucky that it always happens to and we created a ton of different scenarios where they die and have to find each other again and only wind up dying in some way and we discussed how they would maybe have like dreams of the other for the longest time at the beginning of all of these reincarnations, that they wouldn’t understand what was happening because maybe they forgot until they met each other finally.

And just think of all the times that Bucky would watch skinny Steve die because of how hard it was to live in the 40’s and we thought of this one where they made it far enough to where Bucky falls and Steve would be really depressed then and when he flew the plane into the ocean he was actually trying to die so he could start over with Bucky only not knowing that Bucky never died.. ( this will most likely be our biggest plot device once we get started writing more )

There’s so many ways that Steve and Bucky can die with each other and it’s so heartbreaking because some of it is actually canon and we do kinda plan on writing that into it also.. :D
