It’s so weird how people will hate Blossomfall for being mean to Ivypool as apprentices but will make and/or consume dozens of MAPs dedicated to Ivypool hating Dovewing (whose powers I would also liken to a disability but that’s for a separate confession). On top of that, the way Blossomfall’s jealousy over her mother smothering her sister is misunderstood blows my mind a little bit, it’s not just Briarlight needing more attention and Blossomfall not getting that and being selfish, it’s Millie actively ignoring her other two kits as if they didn’t exist in favor of smothering Briarlight, whom Blossomfall never resented in the first place.

Furthermore, it can easily be discerned that Blossomfall was manipulated by the dark forest as Ivypool was, and in Dovewing’s Silence she admits she thought she deserved to be in kitty hell because of jealous feelings she couldn’t control. If OOTS Blossomfall was a selfish grown woman as people like to think her to be, then they should really re-examine how much they like Ivypool since they’re of similar ages.

Also, I’ve seen others talk about how Millie was OOC when it came to her treatment of her kits, but then for some reason use that as a point against Blossomfall instead of just, acknowledge it as something that would affect the whole story. Point being, Blossomfall is a good character, actually, and I’m tired of pretending she’s not.

Hey English speaking wc fans

So, what's Blossomfalls suffix supposed to mean? In finnish her name is translated to Flowerrain (Kukkasade), which ofc works fine. But it got me wondering, like. It's not meant to be fall, as in autumn, right? That may sound obvious but that's lowkey how I thought of it when I first heard it.

Is it meant like. Fall as in falling down?

Idk I was just curious since I haven't read the books where she got her warrior name. Anyone know where it came from? Is it referring to rain?

To me, it evokes cinematic imageries of flowers falling off trees and it's all very pretty and aesthetic
