Robin was in town, alone with the simple task of gathering supplies. While he was browsing, he overheard a few civilians panicking about a kidnapping, its victims being held within a large storehouse for ransom. He was tempted to head back to camp and round up who ever could possibly be available, but time was of the essence. If no one gave into their demands by the time he got back to camp, the hostages could be harmed or worse.
Rather than head back to camp, Robin marches down the cobblestone path to the alleged site, fingers curling tightly around the binding of his Thunder tome. He is sure that he could come up with a plan that would both outsmart and bewilder them-- maybe surprise attack them through one of the windows and swoop in while the rest of them are dazed—or perhaps there was another idea that he could possibly try?
When he finally arrives, the door is wide open. No one appears to be guarding it either—was this some sort of trick? No, there was no way a bunch bandits, reckless enough to pull a crime like this, could afford to leave the building they seized without protection of the exterior. Robin walks even faster, stepping into the dim warehouse. As his eyes struggle to adjust to the darkness, he can barely see the figure of a tall man crowned with blue hair. Naturally, Robin assumes it is somebody he knows.
“Chrom!? I thought you were back at camp--!” No, that isn’t right; he isn’t Chrom. This guy’s much taller, and his outfit is quite different. He starts to trip over his own words, quite embarrassed about calling out the wrong name so confidently. “Y-you’re not. . . Who are you? Did you stop them?”

“Mm,” He starts, resting his chin gently on the monk’s head. Was everything alright? In that moment perhaps. His eyes fall half lidded, watching the flicker of the fire and he hums just a bit. “Can’t sleep,” is finally murmured from him, arms loose around Lucius as to not crush him. “What’re you doing up?”
“Ah...” So then they were both experiencing the same problem, but for Hector to be restless- Lucius was almost surprised. The monk slumped a little to relax. There was no need to pull away from the warmth and comfort, yet... well he’ll have to do his best to help the axe lord. Even if Lucius was already wavering between sleep and being awake. “I also can’t seem to find rest tonight...”
It's rare that the lord would be up at night, especially way late into it. He's a heavier sleep after all, his snoring as loud as a bear. Of course such an act of him not sleeping means that Hector's going to wander until he can, in some shape or form. Which is why he comes across Lucius and wonders what the monk was doing away but he doesn't really say anything. He just steps his way behind him before plopping down and tugging the smaller male into his lap against his chest.
“Wha-?!” Lucius pitched forwards in attempt to jerk out of the hold but with a swift glance over his shoulder the initial panic that made him tense eased away. Now, more pliable, the monk stared for a moment and slowly resettling his hands in his lap. Where else was he supposed to put them? Even his attention returned to the fire that flickered pitifully a few feet away, his lips forming a tight line and uncertainty gnawing at him. He had to say something though.. the silence was almost maddening as it was peaceful.“Uhm... Is everything alright, Lord Hector?” Well, it’s a start for sure, “You’re awfully close.”

O’, how thy free hands long for change! the blood of thy ancestors courses through thy veins, and now, may thou draweth the courage from their tombs and taketh it with thee on thy quest. how fierce is the slash of thy blade! mayhap thou hadst been wronged once in the past, but o’, brave child, may thou rise and becometh more than thy past! alloweth thy pride that lies in thy heritage to guide thy way along this treacherous path into the dark!
O’, how thy loyal hands thirst for power! the words of thy kin didst wound thee so, and now, may thou draweth the venom from their words and taketh it with thee on thy mission. how dangerous is the swing of thy axe! mayhap thou hadst been abandoned once in the past, but o’, mighty child, may thou rise and becometh more than thy past! alloweth thy strength that lies in thy spirit to guide thy way along this treacherous path into the dark!
O’, how thy kind hands pray for peace! birthed from a world of gentle care and loving words, and now, may thou draweth the motive from those memories and taketh it with thee on thy journey. how steady is the thrust of thy sword! mayhap thou hadst been helpless once in the past, but o’, innocent child, may thou rise and becometh more than thy past! alloweth thy compassion that lies in thy heart to guide thy way along this treacherous path into the dark!
O’, such an immense spirit dost emit from these children of the sky! surely, thou wilt brandish thy steel and taketh to the battlefield to save thy world from calamity! for even as we art on the brink of destruction...we may rest knowing our heroes shalt not giveth in until their dying breath! hie now, children of fate! save our endangeréd humanity!
