a fun fact about marianne and will is that they have a pair of non-prescription glasses they share to make themselves look cooler

How are will and Marianne doing rn?
i like to think right now will is drinking the sangria marianne's been making while she noncommittally bats at his hand and tries to tell him its not ready yet from her spot on the couch, where shes trying to divide her attention between an agatha christie book and a netflix nature documentary. will wants them to go out somewhere but mariannes really into her book and probably wont get out till like 2 am, which suits will fine
the more i think about it the funnier will is as a character like imagine you were born at the age of 8 and youre like "ok cool time to do some subtle miracles" so then youre chilling in edinburgh eating a sandwich and then you blink and youre in fucking marseille and a seriously ill woman is like "hey i need you to watch over my daughter because im dying and im all she has in this world" and then she fucking [griffin mcelroy voice] DIES in her SLEEP so youre stuck with this 6 year old kid which as we all know is like leaving a horse in charge of a dog and you have to help her steal to live even though theft is literally against what you were created to do
and then 200 years later someone asks how you guys met and your charge whos a vampire now for some reason just says "oh god made him be friends with me"

does will, as someone with a bond w/corvids, feel any sort of antagonism toward other types of birds? like how likely is he to see a pigeon on the street and yell 'fuck off' at it
oh DAMN thats a good question omg.. marianne loves pigeons and so will hates them to be contrary but also like.. theres a special place in his heart for them as Mongrels Doing Their Best
honestly the distinction for him is that corvids talk to him and other birds dont. so for him other birds are just Other Birds, who start screaming too early in the morning and dont know to get out of the way of bikes. for the most part hes just indifferent to other birds really, whereas hes always fond of corvids
