Some girls asked me to write about my trip to Granåsen on thursday, so I thought about doing that now. They call this a blog after all, right?
The day after we went to the hill very early, about one hour before the 2nd trial round started, because we wanted good places. This is when I met Tom Hilde's biggest fan ever, have you ever heard of her? Just take a look at her blogs, here and here. I wanted to take a picture with her because she is so unique, and I got to. :)
I had talked to Julie(julielovegs) before we went there, and we had decided to meet there and fangirl together. I think that was one of the best decisions I've ever made, and when I met her, it felt like we'd already know each other for a long time! We found some reeeeally good places, where we stood about 50-150 cm away from the jumpers when they walked past after their jumps, to get back up to the top.
When they walked past, we high-fived all of the jumpers(except from Hlava, he was mad), got autographs from the ones we wanted, and we even went down there without permission to get a picture with Sklett. (I think the woman who was supposed to make sure people didn't do those kind of things was a little bit annoyed by us at the end, but, please exuse me while i don't give a fuck..:))
I was so exited and starstrucked at some points, I didn't know what to do or say. When Ammann said some words to us, when Tom saw that I had written Tom Hilde on my forhead and smiled like an idiot, and when we asked Vilberg to come over to us and he did, I think I'll remember those moments for the rest of my life.
After the competition, the woman left, so we went down there again, and went(ran) to where the leaderbox is, because Stoch, Kofler and Schlieri was there, and we wanted to take pictures with them. We got to do that, and it was fantastic to see all of them live! omg dying just to think of it, still can't believe that they were real.
And of course I know that maybe my story is not big for some of you, but this was such a big day for me, and I think it may have been the best day of my life.
