Let's Make A Deal | Open
Veronica sat on the beach, enjoying the sun beaming down on her. She watched as people passed, enjoying their own time in the sun. She could tell, just by looking at these people, that they all wanted something. There was one young girl she caught eyeing a young man who was with another woman. Then there was the larger, balding gentleman who was looking himself over. She knew, and she could make deals with these people, if she felt like it.
Good thing she felt like it. She just wasn't sure who she'd be willing to make a deal with. There were so many prospects, and only so much of her mother's magic to go around.
Veronica kept her eyes moving, looking for the perfect 'unfortunate soul'; as her mother would call them. She was almost about to give up, when she spotted a particularly interesting sight. This particular person was younger than herself, and seemed to be just the right person to make a deal with.
Getting up from her spot, the brunette headed over towards this deal prospect. "You look like someone ran over your best friend, everything okay?"
Garden Party (Summer Theme) | Open
Millie had spent most of her morning in her room, preparing for the garden party her mother had set up. The brunette was just happy to not have a lesson that day.
It was nearing midday when Millie left her room, and headed down to the garden. Her mother had spent a lot of time in there with the gardeners, making sure every detail was perfect.
Guests had already begun to arrive, some unfamiliar to her, but most she'd met on other occasions. She was about to turn and head to the refreshment table, when she stepped backwards, and knocked into someone else. She stumbled a bit, but once she regained her composure, she began to apologized. "I'm so sorry. How clumsy of me."
Hello Everyone!!!
I would love to get a thread or two going with Máquè to get used to her!! If you'd like to thread, let me know!!!
All The Constellations (Summer Theme) | Open
The night was quiet, as almost everyone who resided in the manor were asleep. The exception to that, was Millie. She sat on the roof, having climbed up from her bedroom window.
The sky was clear, and all the stars could be seen without any trouble. This made the brunette happy. She'd once explained to Chance that the stars reminded her of diamonds, glittering in a dark ocean. Now she sat, staring up at the sky, trying her best to find all the constellations she knew.
As she tried to find the North star, Millie heard something coming from below her. Looking down, she saw nothing, but she could still hear something. She wasn't sure if it was footsteps, or something else. Craning her neck, she tried to see without moving from her spot.
Daffodils and Daisies | Open
Millicent stared out of the window, while her governess rambled on about some unexciting thing from a book. The brunette's attention was seldom on her studies, but almost always on the world outside and the adventures that she could have if only she were out there.
Looking forward for a moment, Millie saw that her governess' back was turned. She was still talking, but now she was writing something on the small chalkboard. Millicent took this as an opportunity to escape. As quietly as she could manage, Millie left her classroom, and headed for the front door of her home.
Happy to be out of the confines of the classroom, Millie ventured out into the forest near her parent's home, where she knew of a meadow full of flowers. She liked to visit it when she could, and sit among the daffodils and daisies.
When she finally arrived at the meadow, she sat down, and began to pick the flowers that she was able to reach. They smelled wonderful, and would make beautiful crowns if she twisted their stems together. Taking a daffodil, and a daisy, she began to entwine their two green stems around each other. Then she added more, alternating between the two flowers.
Stars // Open Rp (Summer Theme)
The night was hot an humid as Edward lay on the grass on the palace gardens, but he didn't mind at all. In fact, he enjoyed the heat and felt it helped clear his mind of everything that had been stressing him out lately, starting with his sistet's disappearence. They used to be very close as children, but as time passed they started to see each other less and less until they practicxally ignored each other's existence. Edward wished he cared more about finding her, but she was honestly such a stranger to him now he didn't even have an basis for that desire. Still, the sky was clear and speckled with stars that enchanted every part of Edward. They gave him hope and happiness, something he hadn't had very much of lately. He was completely alone in life now, but at least the stars gave him the temporary illusion that his life was actually pleasent.
