Wickedest Desires || Aurora, Robin, & Elphaba (Ella)
It had been exactly one week since she had casted the curse and she felt like she had settled in quite nicely. She remembered waking up on the first day in the new realm and how surprised she had been by the simplicity and quaintness of the town as she had peered out from her mansion. It looked nothing like anything she had ever seen before and it had charmed some small, deep part of her that could still be moved by such things. She had been indulgent that morning, allowing herself a momentary bout of weakness to feel so charmed before getting back to business -- she had places to be and people to see, after all.
She had cast the curse with the intention of stealing away everyone's happy endings, her own being the exception of course, and wanted to make sure that every single one of those peasants were drowning in sweet, glorious misery. Ohh, Regina in particular she couldn't wait to see.
She grinned, excitement and eagerness coursing through her veins, and with a final glance at the town below -- her town -- she turned towards her private bathroom to get ready. On the way there she passed a full-length mirror and caught her reflection in it. Her eyes went wide in confusion and shock and she rushed to stand before it.
Her reflection stared back at her, one she had seen countless times, but the major difference this time was that she was no longer green. Hands reached up to run over her cheeks as she watched herself in the mirror and smiled. She'd almost forgotten what she'd looked like without the green tint -- the price of her magic, one she would never wish to give back if it meant forfeiting her powers -- but she couldn't say it didn't bother her to look normal, she'd always been vain by nature and the green had always been one annoying imperfection. Again, the price of magic. No more though, it was her Happy Ending and she no longer had to be green...but that didn't mean she was no longer wicked. She chuckled, stroking a finger affectionately over her reflection. Oh no, she was very much still wicked.
That had been her routine almost every morning since the first -- a few minutes spent looking at the town, relishing in the fact that everyone was so completely unhappy and living the furthest thing from Happily Ever After, followed by an hour to pamper herself in her luxuriously large bathroom, then breakfast before heading off to work.
In the evenings she had dinner then often strolled around the town, basking in the world that she herself had created. Seven days and it still didn't get old, she had a feeling it never would. She walked slowly, one hand in her pocket -- to ward off the chill -- while the other stroked over the emerald necklace she was never without. There was a soft smile on her face, one that faded away when she happened to glance up and see Tink- Faye climbing up the fire escape of a building.
Huh. Her brows furrowed as she continued to watch, a strange little itch forming between her shoulder blades. She recognized the apartment building and it took another minutes, but she realized that the window Faye was peeking into was Mary Margaret's. Her eyebrow rose in question and her teeth bared slightly.
What on earth was the nun doing snooping around Mary Margaret's? No, no, no...that wouldn't do. The itch between her shoulder blades intensified. That wouldn't do at all. She needed to speak to the Sheriff immediately.
