okay so i've fired out what i'm doing with the spirtlooms claws weaver gloves things and i'm posting about it so yall will hold me accountable and because i'll feel bad if i post about it and not follow though
1. DF lore discord said everyone's gloves look different so although Tomix and most of the other soulweavers have fingerless gloves mine is not going to be fingerless.
2. this is so i can put claws on the tips because i am chaos.
3. gonna get grey fabric and sew the gloves myself. still looking for tutorial on this.
4. reddit said the gloves looked like glove+bracer things so i'm going to make some bracers out of EVA foam. dad is going with me to get a heat gun, i've found a link with several EVA foam stores i can order online from. I know to avoid the puzzle mat ones.
5. will plastic wrap+duck tape to make the template for the bracer but debating how to do the whole "it tapers off towards the elbow" thing.
6. don't talk to me about paint i haven't figured that out yet, will probably be acrylic and primer- still looking into it tho.
7. gonna hope and pray i can find a purple stone thing because the advice i got about that was to make it out of resign and let me tell you i am not attempting that there is 0 ventilation here and i KNOW you need that for resign.
8. need cement.
9. i plan to put a lot of effort into this and then take construction paper and cut out the elemental effects for the lols.
10. no one tell Dove i wanna surprise him. i know he doesn't check tumblr so i'm safe.
