A Leaf Returning

Solitary sailing softly slowly delicately reaching for the ground though my heart listened in quietude it heard not the slightest sound sans sigh and without whimper during an apparently fatal fall did my eyes detect the knowing smile of a leaf returning life to all *Inspired by the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh

All of These Things

Poor souls praying prophets  perhaps even writers mad men dancing star igniters  prisoners crafting our own bars  children sailing past the stars walking a wire our grip precarious innocent, angelic too oft nefarious yet we needn’t fear anything here as one falls silent another sings for we are each  and more than all of these things
