So what next? Did nick die right away, or did he die in the hospital? What was his funeral like? How did Blade cope with his grief during that time? Why was Maru the only person in his Piston Peak Air Attack team Blade ever told about it?

Lmao so I am NOT a good writer or anything. I just have some sad thoughts that hurt me and I will share them with you.

So, I'm pretty sure he had a super dramatic hospital death. Blade was by his side when he gave. His funeral had to be HUGE. Def one of those, " big funerals thats actually the cover up funeral for tv and stuff but the real funeral had his closest people," scenarios. Okay, Blade hasn't coped??? He's literally flying trauma. I'm positive he just avoided as much as he could regarding Nick. His whole life seems to be the show and then giving his whole life to the fire and rescue. I think he just worked and hasn't stopped since. Maru. Maru is the only "friend" Blade has. Between fixing Blade and the station he seems to have a long history with the force. Maybe he was there when Blade arrived. I think that he was there and had to of seen Blade Ranger from CHoPs show up knowing his partner just died :///. So Maru has to have been there to live the situation with Blade and that's why he knows or Blade just has the history with Maru from years of working together and Blade had a weak moment and told him. I like to think that Blade and Maru lived through Blades tragic backstory (at least the middle to end chapters).
