excuse me, what is age regression? i saw someone talk about this on tiktok and i’m confused. is it just enjoying stuff and things that children typically enjoy? or is it a type of mental illness?

is it an entirely different subculture than just turning on sid the science kid or baby sensory videos cause you like them? is it to create a safe space for adults to talk about things like sid the science kid?

i don’t know, it just feels like this is saying adults are supposed to do “adult” things only and doesn’t allow anyone the freedom to literally do whatever they want without having to put a label on it. just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean you can’t have stuffed animals anymore...literally WHO is stopping you from doing those things you enjoy?

like, some people don’t enjoy paw patrol as they discover new things and are interested in new things. it’s not that they “grew out of it”. they just found something different that makes them happier. if you still like paw patrol and it still makes you happy, then that’s fine too!
