We are so deeply grateful for you, our community, who have helped us to survive and thrive for the last 25 years! A quarter century of award-winning, crowd pleasing, sense awakening, site integrated theatre.

Whether you’ve been with us for all 25 years or just saw your first show this year, you are part of what makes us We. Every one of you is essential to this small but mighty team!

And there are so many ways to show that you care. We understand that not everyone has the funds to donate, but if you do, please consider giving even $5 (seriously). If that’s not an option for you, please consider one of these other actions (even multiple for our high achievers!) to send a message that you’re with us:

Share the video! If you were moved by the message in our video, spread the word. We’re not on the big socials, we rely on our community to make connections and introductions.

Get a friend to join our mailing list. Whether they’ve seen the work or have yet to experience We, they won’t know what’s coming up if they’re not on our list. Help them get all the good news about upcoming productions!

Frieda the fabulous! Frieda the fantastic!

Oh how we love this woman composed of light and love and beauty! Culinary artist Frieda de Lackner has been with us through thick and thin and has weathered it all with grace and groundedness! https://www.weplayers.org/news/2025/1/14/i-am-we-frieda-de-lackner

Dana Taylor is a dream, a dream weaver, a weaver of spells with needle and thread, a weaver of dreams in cloth and dazzlement! Dana has leant her stitiching skills to many a show over the years including our last iteration of Macbeth over a decade ago!

Dana served on We Players’ inaugural board of directors, gracing our group as our Secretary for seven full years. In addition to producing tangible magic in her sewing studio and holding the hearth-center for our fledgling board, she has hosted performances and visiting artists in her home, lent her stable shoulder to cry on at times of significant stress, and always has a long strong hug on tap.

We've had a busy year of events, beginning with a springtime sumptuous celebration of the senses at our annual Season Launch Party.

We Players is moving house!

Come lend a hand! After nearly ten years of enjoying our storage and studio space at Pier 54 in San Francisco's Mission Bay neighborhood, the facility is shutting down and we are relocating further south to Pier 80. We're in need of some helping hands to make the big move!

Volunteers are needed on Friday October 4th, Saturday October 5th, and Tuesday October 8th. Come help for an hour or for an afternoon! You'll need to be able to lift at least 10-15 pounds, wear comfortable closed-toed shoes, and bring your own food, though we'll have some snacks and sparkling water to share.

Have you heard?

We're hosting a Tea Party on March 3rd!

Join us in launching 2023 by contributing to this fun and fabulous event to receive complimentary tickets to our upcoming Adventures with Alice. We have all kinds of positions for different dispositions and skill levels so we'll find something that suits you.

Can't make it on 3/3 but still want to pitch in? We'll need hands for a couple days leading up to the event, so shifts are also available on March 1st and 2nd.
