A something I noticed with Mizuki

I dug myself a hole this is part 1 of the pjsk clothing study saga to figure out if Mizuki has even more genius writing or if it’s bigotry

I already brought this up with a friend but I am curious for more thoughts/opinions on it

Something I noticed with Mizuki’s outfits in (trained) cards, is that more often than others, she has shorts instead of a full skirt. I noticed it mainly when looking at the Immiscible Discord set, but it’s like… something that Mizuki just has, I guess.

I can’t tell if it’s colorful palette being galaxy brain with some kind of “Mizuki doesn’t fit standard gender so why should we give her a skirt? She is beyond standard femininity and masculinity” or if it’s a “mizuki isn’t afab so why should she skirt”

List of 4* cards and whether they have shorts, pants, skirt, etc & does the rest of the set have that under the cut

Feelings I’ve realized: Poofy shorts (with mini cage skirt on top? still primarily shorts)

Between feelings and reality: Seems to be shorter skirt on a dress? No costume for 3dmvs with this one so I’m using my intuition I fear

The link to the next stream appears a few days after Gabriel's abandoned mission. You're almost surprised; you'd half expected Shepard to be dead by now, either succumbing to his wounds, or to one of his captors. But sure as shit, he's breathing when the feed pulls up. That's about the only positive thing you can say about his condition.

Shepard is lying on his back, looking about as healthy as a corpse. His complexion is lifeless, his skin covered in a sheen of sweat, his breaths shallow and rapid. Still alive, but by the look of him that won't be the case for much longer. 

Lu steps into the frame, her movements unhurried. There's a water bottle in one hand, and you watch as she kneels behind Shepard, pulling his head into her lap. His face contorts, lips moving as if he's trying to speak, but Lu hushes him, opening the bottle and trickling water into his mouth. It's almost tender, or it would be if you didn't know the whole story. The things Shepard has done. The things done to him in turn.

Lu reaches for one of the man's hands and begins to unwind the duct tape there. You can't help wince as his mangled hand is revealed, bit by bit, and the way Lu crinkles her nose isn't lost on you. The wounds there are clearly infected. Hell, you wouldn't be surprised if every wound he's accumulated is infected. His body has finally weakened enough to let the decay in.

Shepard whimpers pitifully as Lu prods at one of the oozing wounds on his palm.

“Your hand is rotting,” she says simply. “I imagine other things are rotting as well.”

You take in a little too much of his ruined hand—the congealed blood, the dead flesh, the stuff oozing out of it—and let out a shudder.

“They will need to be removed,” Lu continues. “I knew it would come eventually.”

“No…” Shepard says, the word hardly audible. “N… no. It… they'll heal. They can—”

“They can't.” Lu lays his arm on his chest. “There is no healing from this, Victor. Your hands were as good as gone the moment the drill kissed them.”

“No,” he says again. 

“I knew you'd hate this. That this would be the thing to destroy you.” A tired smile pulls at her lips. “You took my hand and more, but I survived it. I got stronger. I don't think the same will be said for you.” She caps the water bottle and stands, leaving a whimpering Shepard behind.

“You've never been anything but a weapon. If your means of killing, hurting, moving, are gone, what is left of you? A broken blade. Not even sharp enough to cut fruit.”

“Please,” Shepard says. “Please… you can't, please.”

Lu scoffs. “Don't be a fool. The fever will kill you.”

“Let it,” he begs. “Let it, let it, please, just let me die, please—” His voice breaks as she kneels beside him once more, a syringe in her hand.

“Lu, please—”

“You had so many opportunities to be more than you are, didn't you? All of them thrown away. If I do this, there will still be a choice, but I don't think you will take it. No, I know you won't.”

“I'm sorry.” It's almost a sob. “I'm sorry, Lu, I'm sorry.”

“No you aren't,” she says, plunging the needle into his neck and depressing the plunger. “You're just afraid.”

In all honesty. This is a Hellsite, because it's the only place where artist give their best posting art to be stolen by shady fuckers that sold it on mugs or T-shirts else where, or trace it to post it as their own in other Sm.

also the ones still editing gifs to receive 15 notes on a gift set that probably took hours to make. That later will be reposted on Twitter by other fuckers that don't credit the source but receive 1k interactions.
