I did. pretty sure it’s just a generalized assessment on what outsiders and probably investors could have been feeling during their debuts this year based on the typical trajectory with boy boy like they said in the article.

don’t blame them for that line of thinking though. bh gleefully assuring everyone of bts’ grand return to form and upholding OT7, like they haven’t spent almost a year blatantly pushing one member above the rest. hybe knows bts don’t want to disband. so what better advantage to them than promising a comeback of the group off of bts’ own words to the fans, while still being able to utilize the fandom favorite to push their expansion agenda.

just dangling keys in armys faces because it’s basically them playing two sides. having the benefit of a successful soloist breakout story of their own making all while still having that same soloist tethered to the group to keep up appearances. that’s why I can’t take them seriously in that regard.
