hey does anyone have video from bows from today’s matinee i’ll owe you my life
The way this interview is about Mack and it would be totally normal to refer to it as "my first season", but he calls it "our first season." He may mean "our" as in the Sharks, though it's kind of odd to center yourself that way, unless he means "our" in that a lot of the team started around that time with him.
Or he views his time in San Jose as "our time" with Will. Their time. Day 1, by each other's side, so much so that he likely refers to it as such unconsciously: our.
(Though Dickie was drafted with Mack, he didn't start with the Sharks until the 25 - 26 season.)
Played with the symbolism of tarot cards, looking for the most resonant archetypes for each of my parts.
Yevgeny Zamyatin, We
July 12th- 像山 and Shifen
Today, we woke up at 6:00 am. Our plan was to go hiking on Elephant Mountain and the to Shifen! We left the hotel around 8:30 am and headed to the MRT station. It was t long before we were walking along and looking for the trail head. Once we found the beginning, we began to climb up many slippery steps. They were very steep and slick. It was very hot and humid. It didn’t take long for us to be covered in sweat. It was all worth it though! The views at each lookout were amazing!
Now, on the way down was another story. As we made our descent, we did not turn around and come down the exact way we came. Although we had looked at the map, we were under the impression that the trail would circle back to the beginning where we started. So, we continued moving along. It was a very slow descent, especially after Layla slipped. We decided getting hurt was not worth going anything faster that the pace of a snail. What we thought would be a 45 minute to an hour round trip turned into well over two hours of being on the mountain. We ended up on the complete other side of the mountain and the most memorable part was going to about 20 minutes of very steep, slippery stairs and no railing. Our lives flashed before our eyes on a few separate occasions. However, we did make it off the mountain all good. Extremely sore legs and muscle cramps, and a lot of mosquitoes bites. But otherwise completely fine. We then, very tired, sweaty, and hungry headed back to the hotel where we dropped by McDonalds for a quick lunch. All in all, would not recommend anyone to hike after a typhoon…
After lunch, we decided that our legs weren’t sore enough and headed to another mountain to finish out the day. Shifen was 1 hour 44 minutes by public transportation, so we opted for an Uber that would only take 45 minutes. Once we found our way to Shifen old street, we were instantly greeted by a lady who told us to buy lanterns. So of course, we instantly bought them. I got pink that stood store joy and bliss if I remember correctly. We got to write our own messages on them! It was a lot of fun lighting it on fire and watching it fly away!!!
Sorry for the horrible handwriting!
After setting off the lanterns, we hiked once again to see a waterfall! It was very beautiful! The nature views were amazing and going across the bridges of the running water was a lot of fun!!
After the waterfall hike, we headed back to call for another uber. Lucky enough, there was a taxi around that asked us where we were heading. After something similar to “haggling” the price of the drive, we were moving along back to the hotel. After getting back to the hotel, we got cleaned up and headed out for kebabs. Low and behold, after more walking, the kebab place was closed. We went back to the hotel to wait until the time they actually opened and headed back. However, they were still closed. So we decided to go try a poke bowl restaurant near the hotel. Sadly, that was also closed. The closest thing to us that would prevent us from having to walk even more was subway. So we got subs and headed back to the hotel. Today was a really great day! Layla and I worked really good together and got through the few instances when things got sketchy. We had a lot of fun and it’s a plus that we both love to go on early morning hikes!
Hmm not sure if worth it to get food but maybe can restock on some makeup at cvs
