It made me think that I should read Rushing to Paradise again . I want to put 20 people in a room make them read both and defend what they believe the connections between them to be and the value of comparative analysis with the two of them. There is so much discretely present and unearthable ,Essays on any analytical train or angle with these books as the major cited sources. (None )

#dennis cooper #I have to say it is distinct from everything else I've read by him. There are overlapping and constant themes throughout everything ofcourse #But it is distinct. Woke up at 5am after locking myself in a camper after being molested as shit by someone's closet case uncle at the party #& started reading this debating on whether to blow the whole town and be hours away by the time anyone woke up #I don't know how it made me feel. I'm pretty sure better. & Better feels like worse sometimes & worse feels like better #my loose thread
