Another emergency, another plea for help. I wouldn't even ask except last time there were a few saints who saved us, so I figured it couldn't hurt.
My (biological maternal AKA not-super-close-to) grandma died recently. It didn't affect me too much, I only met her once as a baby and otherwise all our interactions were through FB messenger, but my mum was (understandably) devastated and had to take a week off work to grieve and recover. bc she just started at her job + is only part-time, she didn't get paid for the days she missed, meaning that her next cheque's going to be about $300 short.
Normally we could borrow money from family or just be extra frugal for the next couple weeks, but we're still recovering financially from our move in June (which ended up costing us about $1800 more than we expected) and we haven't even paid back all the money we borrowed for that, so we can't exactly ask for more right now.
So here I am, asking (relative) strangers on the internet to help us again. We're not hurting right now but we will be very soon, and literally all of our possible safety nets have been exhausted with no time to build them back up again.
I created a PayPal.me link at http://PayPal.me/wonderbound where you can send anything down to and including $1. Whatever you can spare would help us to pay bills and eat food and live. You can also reblog this post if you want to help but can’t send money--l feel even weirder soliciting money from complete strangers, but hey, you never know who might be willing to help.
If you can send money, thank you a million times. If you reblog this post to signal boost thank you again. I wish I had some kind of marketable skill that I could offer in return for your help, or some tale of woe so devastating that it really seems worth it to give me your money. But our story isn't that remarkable. We're just poor and dealing with more than we can handle right now.
