Edwin! Little buddy! Can you tell us about your best friend?

Of course they are still best mates!! They are also next door neighbours. Edwin drew a picture for you to illustrate this:

They actually have known each other since they were both babies. Charles's family moved into their home about six months after Edwin's Papa and Daddy adopted Edwin.
Edwin really adores Charles and thinks that Charles is the best person he knows, and the strongest, too. Here he drew Charles giving him a hug after the incident on the slide.
Also, after Edwin came home from the hospital, Charles visited to let him hug the stuffed dog, Mr Kutta. Though Edwin doesn't always like stuffies (and especially not dolls) he was very happy to see Charles and did give Mr Kutta many snuggles that day, because Charles's mummy had just washed Mr Kutta and he smelled nice. Also pictured is Edwin's special blanket.
So yes, no matter what universe, Charles and Edwin are best friends forever.
