Weakness? He pulled down the corners of his lips before they could fully form into a smirk. What weakness?
Daehyung was looking out of the window, tapping his fingers along the wall with a song playing in his head. Unlike the other trainees who were hard at work, nervous about the evaluation, he felt perfectly at ease. It was difficult to summon up anxiety when one did not care. And Daehyung, well, he managed to cruise through most of his life giving no fucks.
“Do you need help, Daehyung?” One of the trainees asked. So helpful. So sweet. He wondered how much of that was real. Let’s face it, there were many people who were faking it within these walls, daring not to let their true nature slide in fear of judgment. Silly things, the only one truly capable of judging you is you. Other people’s opinions never really mattered - unless you allow them to.
“No, thank you.” He dodged around the mister nicey-nice, mildly irritated to have lost his corner of peace.
Daehyung had to pick a new area to hang out at, because actually leaving this practice room would not be a good idea. He had a date later that night and couldn’t afford to get pulled into the office for a scolding session with dear old Hyuncheol. After much contemplation, he decided on the corner to the far right. No windows, but less people. “Make room,” he said to the trainee dancing there as he made his way over. What was that guy’s name again? Sammy.
