Statistics Canada says the income gap — measuring the difference in the share of disposable income between households in the top 40 per cent

"the met gala is so dystopian and evil, it's like the hunger games"
cmere. Hold my hand. A celebrity with a net worth of 10 million only has 1/3500000ths of what elon musk has. I can't even tell you what decimal that is because that number immediately puts my calculator into scientific notation. That's how fucking small it is. And celebrities, love them or hate them, have jobs. They act, sing, tour, interview, and promote constantly. You're only aware of their wealth because their work is in front of your face constantly. They don't have a fraction of what the CEOs and tech bros have.
Don't get so leftist that it causes you to think art, even expensive art, is a waste of time. I think the met gala was brilliant this year because I know that actors and singers and athletes are not my enemy.
Imagine moving the goal post for everyone else, only to have your great grandchildren become so incompetent that now they can’t survive if there’s a level playing field…
Inequality reproduces itself and then defends itself.
The corridors of success and power are filled with mediocre white men.
