SO, the OC, Amara, is a lightening flame. Lightening has hardening properties and blah blah but like the teacups are mostly defensive in nature. They are the fragile type but Amada uses her lightening flames to harden the cup and use it as a projectile weapon. She also hardens her hand to smash the cup against it so it breaks then hardens the shard to pierce through the soles of whoever’s pursuing her.
Yes, there is a reason that she uses a teacup because I can‘t help myself and I like backstories~ Basically, when she was younger her family was in the inner circle of a rising familiga. Her parents, wanting her to be useful to their allies, started her training to become a guardian (not in Vongola guardian way but in personal guard way) which only worsened when her lightening flame appeared. But Amara didn’t want to settle for working for someone she didn’t care much for. Worsened by the fact that her easy temper didn‘t suit bodyguard work. Instead, she wanted to be the heir. And that wasn’t something she could attain easily.
Instead, she plot. Though she didn’t enjoy her classes, her favorite was negotiation which was usually held over some sort of dinner party-esque setting. Eventually the day that came for her plotting to come to an end. Slipping a poison into the cup of the heir, her plan worked. They died and she was free. Except, she hadn’t taken into account that her distaste of the heir were so obvious that she was suspect uno.
That’s when she struck out on her own, running away from a familiga hunting her down to pay for the death of a heir. Alone in the dark world that is the mafia, she finds comfort in cutesy stuff –particularly teacups. Overtime, teacups become such a regular thing for her that she finds a way to incorporate it into her fighting style.
