Weapon List for UnderHunter

Do we like UnderHunter? Do we want a different name for it? GuildTale? HunterTale? I don’t know... Here is the simplest group of notes I have that make sense. The rest I think a drunk monkey with a type writer could of explained better. So expect them later in the day/week. In fact, it might help if you ask any questions about it you might have. That would give me more direction with my explanation of ideas.

Anyway, back to the point, the monsters can use their magic still, but against large monsters weapons work best. I based the weapons used on fighting styles seen in game or what I felt fit the personality of the character. For each of the main monsters I picked two (though some only have one) as their primary go to weapons. Though they could feasibly use any weapon, I feel these weapons are the ones they’d be best at.

So, for example: Sans does little damage per hit, but hits a lot and depends more on dodging to survive and that matches duel blades and light bowgun (as a non magic nod to his blasters). Mettaton on the other hand is a born performer and would most likely use the hunting horn and i also picked the switch ax because he can change forms... I think it fits? His fighting style kinda changes up a bit during the fight...  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, here’s the list:

Chara- All Frisk- All Toriel- Hunting Bow, long sword Papyrus- Sword + Shield, Heavy Bowgun Sans- Dual Blades, Light bowgun Undyne- Lance + Shield, Gun Lance Mettaton- Hunting Horn, switch axe Alphys- Hammer, (guild researcher) Now that I think about it I don’t like this weapon choice. Suggestions? Asgore- Gun Lance, Greatsword Asriel/Flowey- Heavy Bowgun, charge blade Muffet- Insect Glaive, (merchant) Grillby- ??? Specially made frying pan? I don’t know... (cook) Gerson- Hammer, (Blacksmith)

Thoughts and opinions are welcome, of course. Also, know that nothing is set in stone. If everyone else likes Sans wearing light armor and running around with duel blades but you want him in the heaviest gear with a great sword, go for it. Though inwardly I will question your life choices (j/k), outwardly I will encourage your creativity and want to break the norm.
