“I told you, we should’ve followed the path a bit longer! Maybe I dunno the terrain here, but I actually remember the things I see in this forest!” Tomahawkman threw his arms up in the air. “We’ve been walking ‘round in circles for an hour. I’m calling Triage.”
“You’re not calling anyone!” Dingo protested. He reached for his PET’s mute button, ready to cut short to his Navi’s pointless arguing. “We’ll find it when we find it. Just leave me alone.”
Tomahawkman rolled his eyes, before his hologram flickered out of view. Dingo would probably give up once his stomach started begging for food...
Indeed, Dingo’s bottomless pit of a stomach soon made its existence known. Dingo was about to concede defeat, when a peculiar noise caught his attention. It was too loud to be a bird, and a predator wouldn’t be hunting in the middle of the day.
Dingo got a little closer, extremely curious to find out the source of the noise.

Despite himself, the very serious look remained on Protoman’s face as he looked up at the Wilybot. This wasn’t a Shadowman that he had met before, nor had he ever really heard of him, but that didn’t make any difference.
“Trust me for a second- I need you to stand entirely still.” He said as he held up a rope, as if that would explain anything. “It will take less than a moment.”

“Did I call you? No. But my invitation remains open regardless, if you would like to contribute--”
“Flash.”
Wuh oh.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
The doorbell of a small pet store jingled, the sound carrying a small distance as the shop's latest patron exited, giving one last thanks to the clerk before beginning his trek back home.
Blues carried a bag with two sacks--one cat food, and the other litter. It was errand day, and since he was the least conspicuous between him and Shadow, it was his job to grab Kuro's supplies.
(She was growing so fast! It was amazing how much she could scarf down in a day.)
He whistled to himself as he made his way through the streets, cutting through back alleys as he got closer to his nearly-deserted destination. His 'home' was on the far edge of town, surrounded by decaying industrial buildings, so he still had a ways to go, but he walked at a leisurely pace--he was in no rush.
