ZTA communication efforts receive recognition

Zeta Tau Alpha was honored with four awards at the 2019 Fraternity Communications Association (FCA) Annual Conference for printed and digital communication pieces.

First place, Publication Improvement – Printed

The Outstanding Alumna brochure from Convention 2018 was praised for being “an attractive, clean, readable piece.” Judges also noted, “The old version was very nice, but this one bumps everything up a few notches.”

First place, Publication Improvement – Magazine/Tabloid

The small tweaks to Themis throughout the year paid off for this award category. One judge said, “There was nothing wrong with the older version, but WOW does this new one pop! I would describe it as fresh, clean and crisp!”

First place, Specific-Purpose Website

ZTAConvention.com received this award because, according to judges, “It is easy to navigate and included a few extra things like what to pack and a recap from the previous conference.”

First place, Video Presentation – General

The video below puts a fun twist on the traditional list of dos and don’ts by offering more engaging examples of how to make the most of the Convention experience. Judges rated it a perfect 10.

The FCA Annual Conference brings fraternity and sorority headquarters communication staff and volunteers together for education, recognition and networking opportunities. Congrats to our fellow interfraternal friends who also took home awards!
